Quality Assurance & Internal validation

Teaching standards based on best evidence and practice
Our rigorous quality assurance program ensures that best evidences and practices are adopted in all our courses. The faculty will undertake a periodic review to ensure that the course contents are up to date. Guidelines and recommendations on curriculum and professional standards will be considered in our internal validation process.

We take responsibility to monitor the quality of teaching and learning in our courses. Effective monitoring contributes to collaborative discussions and formulate priorities for future improvement plans. Our faculty accept that monitoring is key to assist in this improvement. The information gathered through our monitoring reports will be collated and analysed to identify successes, areas for improvement and impact of our teaching on learners.

Accreditation & External Validation

Our courses are internationally validated and certified for their structure and value.
Our courses are accredited by the Academy of Medical Educators(UK) for MAcadMEd and by CPD Certification Service(UK) for up to 56 CPD hours.

Successful participants are entitled to Membership of the Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd) through a shortened process which is specifically recognized by the General Medical Council, UK. This signifies the achievement of professional standards of medical educators and expertise in medical education in the same way as Membership or Fellowship of a Medical or Surgical Royal College signifies craft knowledge or skills.

We make CPD Accreditation integral to our program to ensure that academic content and quality are compatible with global CPD standards. Our courses are externally assessed and validated for their structure and value. Our courses are certified against universally accepted CPD guidelines by the CPD Certification Service (UK), the world’s largest and leading independent CPD accreditation organisation across all industry sectors. Our monitoring reports are regularly shared with CPD assessors for formal review and impartial accreditation.

The practice of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is highly valued. However, the requirements for CPD vary by global location and are dependent on regulations set by professional bodies. We recommend all participants to verify the local guidelines If they intend to claim CPD credits.

Certification

Certificates of Completion will be provided to all participants upon completion of each course.
We offer micro-credentials to certify the outcomes of small tailored learning experiences in our program. Upon completion of the full program, participants will receive the “Certificate in Medical Soft Skills”. The path to full certification involves completion of all parts of the program over a one-year period. Participants with full certification are eligible to claim up to 56 CPD hours and apply for MAcadMEd from the Academy of Medical Educators (UK) through a shortened process. Visit www.medicaleducators.org for more details.
